Express your interest in a Free Melva Licence in 2024/25:

In 2023/24, using funding from the North of Tyne Combined Authority, access to the Melva programme was made available to over 40 schools and 3,000 children free of charge.  

For 2024/25, we have local authorities and businesses interested in sponsoring schools – both those wishing to renew their Melva licence for a further year and schools that are new to Melva and want to use it for the first time.

Based on the response and impact of the Melva programme this year, we are expecting a lot of interest in funded licences for next year. To manage this, we are inviting schools interested in benefitting from this funding to submit an expression of interest.

Melva supports your Mental Health Award

For those schools undertaking the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools Award, completing the Melva programme can be used as part of your evidence portfolio.

It specifically contributes to the Organisational Structure & Culture – Pupils and Support for Pupils categories.
