Funding from North East Combined Authority for academic year 24/25
It’s not too late to use MELVA this academic year (2024/25) and we still have a small number of FREE licences available for schools in the North East Combined Authority.
This includes: County Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, South Tyneside, Sunderland. Click the links below to register your interest TODAY.

Registering your interest for 2025/26
If you are not eligible for a free licence from the North East Combined Authority, you can register your interest today for a MELVA licence for next academic year.
We’ll add you to our waiting list for schools, and will match you up with funders and sponsors as they become available.
Alternatively, your school can purchase a licence directly for £1,000 per year (discount on renewal).

Melva supports your Mental Health Award
For those schools undertaking the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools Award, completing the Melva programme can be used as part of your evidence portfolio.
It specifically contributes to the Organisational Structure & Culture – Pupils and Support for Pupils categories.
